Originality Technique ImpactI'd just like to start by saying that this is a REALLY nice piece. The colors, the positioning, the use of so much stock, it all looks very good. The dragon's place on the tower looks like he is actually clinging to it, not just placed on it. The edges of everything from the trees, to the dragon all look very good. The lighting is also amazing.
The one (and only) problem I could find was the fire. I'd like to add that this is more of a matter of personal taste, but I dislike the positioning and look of the fire. At first, because of the way it blends into the tower, I didn't see that dragon's bottom jaw. It looked like the fire was coming from the tip of the mouth and I actually kind of liked that.
Then, I noticed the bottom jaw, and my opinion changed. It doesn't look like the fire is coming from within the dragon's mouth, more like it's coming from on top of the dragon's mouth. If you had just set the starting point of the fire a little bit lower, it would have been great!
Excellent work, the picture is beautiful and extremely well done!
