Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactLet me start off by saying that I love the color in this piece to...well pieces. Lol, nevertheless I like how you stuck with multiple colors on this and the nice combination of blue and pink.
You tend to see a lot of angels in the woods now-a-days, but not a good deal of them have nice tattoo sleeves! I like that twist to this piece!
The only things that I see missing are the shadows! Where are the shadows that the wings would leave on her given the left wings position? You seem to have the light coming from behind her,but no real tell of it. I can see what you were going for, but the back-lighting could have been a tad brighter so one knows it's coming from behind her. Also I love how you did the whole painted feeling to the piece, but the bodice is throwing it off for me. It doesn't have that same painted feeling the rest of it does.
Also if the blue lighting is coming from behind her it wouldn't be reflected on the inside of the left wing where her arm is particularly hidden by it, it would block out the light on the wing and thusly giving the shadow on her arm. ^^
Nevertheless, the piece is gorgeous and I still love the colors on this! Anyone who can do all that painting is quite amazing to me! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
